Harry Dresden is the only Wizard in Chicago's phone book, and is consulted by Chicago's finest for the cases that are too weird for the PD to handle. Werewolves, vampires, and faeries (NOT a nice crowd) are all around us, for those who know how to watch and Listen. Plus, Harry has a cat named Mister and a helper named Bob who's a spirit currently residing in a skull, and who is also very fond of romance novels. It's well done fantasy with touches of noir, mystery, and some (mostly) fine old Latin blended in.
